CD One Price Cleaners Partners With Infant Welfare Society Of Chicago For 5th Consecutive Year To Keep Local Children And Families Warm This Winter Through “Coats For Kids"
WESTCHESTER, IL (PRWEB) November 16, 2016 -- CD One Price Cleaners, Chicagoland’s leader in the dry cleaning and laundry industry, is proud to announce the continuing tradition of partnering with Infant Welfare Society. This is the 5th consecutive year that CD One has helped campaign to keep kids warm for winter through “Coats for Kids”.
Each Chicagoland CD One location is accepting “Coats for Kids” donations. They are asking their customers to donate children’s gently used coats now through November 12th. Adult coats are also welcomed. Donations will be cleaned by CD One and picked up by the Infant Welfare Society. The Infant Welfare Society of Chicago provides under-served children and families with jackets to keep them warm during Chicago’s harsh winters.
For over 100 years, the Infant Welfare Society has been working relentlessly to provide adequate care to women, children, and families whom lack access to basic medical care. Their mission is to provide disadvantaged children the opportunity to physical and mental health services in order to have a bright future. They provide a broad list of services which include: child development, primary medical care, dentistry, optometry, mental health, women’s health care, family counseling and therapy, and child development, parenting, and family support services.
“Coats for Kids” helps thousands of children across the Chicagoland area. These donations never go unneeded, as over 200 new patients enroll monthly at The Infant Welfare Society. The donations made to “Coats for Kids” will help these children and families in their day-to-day lives. The bitter cold months of Chicago can be hard on families. The simple gift of a jacket to keep warm can go a long way and hopefully help prevent critical health conditions.
