Chicago (PRWEB) November 14, 2016
G2 Crowd, the world’s leading business software review platform, today released the Fall 2016 Digital Asset Management Software Grid report to help businesses make the best digital asset management technology buying decision. Libris and WebDAM were named Leaders in the report, receiving a strong customer satisfaction score with a large market presence.
Widen Collective, Brandfolder, Wiredrive, IntelligenceBank DAM, Daminion, Flight by Canto, Smartimage, Bynder, Cumulus by Canto, Asset Bank, MerlinOne, MediaValet, ProofHQ, and Brandworkz were named High Performers in the report, earning strong customer satisfaction marks with smaller market presence scores. Brandfolder earned the highest overall satisfaction score, while Documentum earned the highest overall market presence score.
The Grid leverages customer satisfaction data reported by authenticated users along with vendor market presence determined from social and public data. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender or Niche.
-Minimal market presence — Of the 29 products featured on the Fall 2016 Grid for Digital Asset Management, only six have a market presence score of at least 50. This leaves the vast majority of products on the lower side of the market presence axis in the Niche and High Performer quadrants. Some products with exceptional satisfaction scores still lack the company size, longevity, and web traffic required to rise above this axis to be named Leaders.
-DAM good support, still — Digital asset management vendors continue to set the bar for customer experience in the B2B marketplace. The average rating for ease of doing business with 29 vendors was 89 percent. The average rating for quality of support was also 89 percent. Many reviewers for products on the Grid made a point to mention the high level of customer service, including fast response time and friendly representatives.
-User interface woes — A number of users across many DAM products had complaints about their products’ user interface (UI). Reviewers often felt that the UI aesthetics are outdated or underwhelming. Other negative reviews said that their DAM interface is clunky, unintuitive, slow, glitchy, or dark and difficult to see. The word “interface” was mentioned 70 times in reviews of DAM products on the Grid in response to the question, “What did you dislike most?”
