iSow Partners With KidsShoes.com To Cultivate Youth Gift Giving For Good This Holiday Season

iSow launches #KidsHelpingKids campaign in conjunction with global gift giving day, #GivingTuesday on November 29th, 2016.

iSow and KidsShoes.com have partnered to launch the #KidsHelpingKids campaign with the support of the 92Y and in conjunction with global gift giving day, #GivingTuesday on November 29th, 2016. iSow is a youth-centered online platform that transforms gift-giving into goal-giving.

The #KidsHelpingKids campaign asks kids what they want for the holidays, then celebrates the answers that reflect the everyday spirit of iSow -- kids using special occasions as opportunities to improve the lives of those less fortunate.

“The goal is to tell the story of how this generation is making social impact by harnessing gift giving for good”, said Tanya Van Court, iSow Founder and CEO. “iSow was established to re-direct gift-giving on birthdays, holidays and other special occasions and enable young people to save for important goals instead of receiving traditional goods. Our users are excited about using year-round gifting occasions to raise money on behalf of important causes that they are passionate about, and in so doing, honor their commitment to making charitable giving a key part of their personal goals.”

Through this campaign, iSow’s goal is to reach at least 10,000 kids who will sign up for iSow.com and identify a sharing goal benefiting children in need. Participants will use their iSow profiles as “holiday wish lists” that can be shared with their family and friends

KidsShoes.com will be the lead partner and first contributor to the sharing goal of each iSow account created on #GivingTuesday. SheKnows Media will also serve as an exclusive partner with iSow for the #KidsHelpingKids campaign.

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Entering its fifth year and celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season.
