New App Combines User-Centric Features to Provide Best Possible Parking Experience

People who Pango will save money and time just by using the app.

Guillermo Leiva, President of Operations for Pango USA, a Smart City company providing mobile payment services for parking, transit, ride-hail and other city services, has announced the release of its new Pango 4.0 mobile app in North America as well as a new corporate image. “The new app combined with the new corporate image allows for an integrated look and feel between the apps and the new customer friendly designed website, all leading to a positive customer interaction” said Leiva.

The new corporate image was introduced to communicate what makes Pango USA unique. “Despite already being recognized as a leader in the global parking payment market, there was a gap between our brand perception versus our brand reality — particularly on the additional services available,” said Brandon Reese, Pango’s VP Customer Experience and Innovation. “Pango technology gives you a smarter and easier way to commute, park and pay, which is now presented in our new corporate image.”

In addition to the new look and a smarter and easier way to pay, Pango 4.0 includes PANGO SAVE, a group of features requested by users which will continue to transform the way people commute and manage their parking experience. Pango 4.0 is the first app to combine parking availability, payment of parking, and alerts designed to save users money.

“Saving money is the key component of the new app,” said Mr. Leiva. “Notifications will be sent to users on their mobile device if their car is moving and if they have time left on the meter. Instead of having to pay for a full 15 or 20 minutes, drivers will only pay for the actual time they need. They will also not be driving around looking for parking as they will be able to drive straight to a block, lot or garage with an available space.”

PANGO SAVE will also remind drivers to stop their parking session ensuring they only pay for the parking they use. In addition, they will be able to pay by the minute when there is less than a quarter’s worth of time left before the end of the metered time. Users will also be shown when to park off-street, when to park on-street and where businesses are validating parking.

“People who Pango will save money and time just by using the app. This differentiates Pango from the competition, and makes us relevant to commuters, businesses and public sector leaders. We are constantly updating our technology and adding features that benefit users. We want to provide and make information easily available so that users can make good transportation decisions.
