Furia Rubel Communications, Inc., is proud to announce that it has been named a Silver winner in the 2016 Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award (MEA) competition for its work developing a new website for the French International School of Philadelphia, http://www.FrenchSchoolPhila.org. The Summit MEA competition evaluated 1,100 entries from 14 countries.

The French International School of Philadelphia, which marks its 25th anniversary in 2016-2017, launched its new website designed by Furia Rubel as a reflection of the mission of the school and the premium level of education the school offers. The strategic direction for the bilingual website was based on survey data from the school community. The entire English website is fully translated into French, which can be easily accessed with the click of a button, in order to provide the most interactive and useful experience to current and prospective families, alumni, and supporters.

The French International School of Philadelphia is a not-for-profit, independent school offering bilingual instruction in French and English to a multicultural community of students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.

The new site employs principles of excellent graphic design and user experience design to enhance usability, accessibility, and satisfaction for website visitors. Laura Powers, Chief Marketing Officer of Furia Rubel, noted that that strategic design and development decisions have been validated by the feedback received from school administrators and parents of enrolled students.

“It was a privilege to have the opportunity to serve this dynamic multicultural community of students, teachers, parents and administrators by developing a highly engaging and relevant website,” Powers said.

The Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award responds to a common need in the marketing and advertising sector: to acknowledge the contribution of results and messaging, and the achievement of the marketer’s business goals. The Summit MEA is unique to other award programs because it reinforces that the goal of marketing communications is to change, influence, or reinforce an audience's knowledge, attitudes, or beliefs. Using this premise as a basis for its judging criteria, the competition is a true arbiter of marketing communication effectiveness.

“Distinguishing between creativity and effectiveness is a difficult task, so winning a Summit MEA is a significant achievement,” said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director for the Summit International Awards. “The combination of experienced judges and our tough criteria ensures that only deserving submissions receive Summit MEA recognition.”
