WIN Summit, the New York-based conference dedicated to women and the art of negotiation, has announced the addition of several world-renowned educators to a lineup of presenters that will also include recognized leaders in the fields of law, business, and government.
The event’s advanced learning agenda will be shaped by highly-respected voices in the study of negotiation including several who work regularly in conjunction with The Negotiation Institute, the longest running negotiation training organization in the world and a presenting partner of the conference.
Among the leading academics already committed to WIN Summit 2017 are:
- Ayelet Fishbach, the Jeffrey Breakenridge Keller Professor of Behavioral Science and Marketing at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
- Dr. Beth Fisher-Yoshida, a negotiation expert and Professor at Columbia University
- Iris Bohnet, Professor of Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and the director of its Women and Public Policy Program.
- Mori Taheripour, a faculty member in the Legal Studies and Business Ethics Department at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where she teaches Negotiations and Dispute Resolution in the Undergraduate, MBA and Executive Education programs.
“We are delighted to be able to present such an outstanding lineup of thought leaders in the field of Negotiation,” said Jack Simony, Chairman of WIN Summit and The Negotiation Institute. “Attendees will leave the conference with enhanced negotiation capability, and the skills to improve not only economic results at the corporate and individual level, but also the tools needed when dealing with uncertain environments, difficult people, and conflict management.”
According to Jane McDermott, Executive Director of WIN Summit, “This conference is truly unique in its ability to function as a Women’s conference – with a palpable sense of collaboration and networking – but also as an advanced learning opportunity that is second to none. In addition to the many business leaders among our presenters, our academic faculty from The Negotiation Institute really sets us apart.”
The program will run on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Both days will include instruction, panel discussion and breakout sessions. As it has done in the past, the event will also coordinate with appropriate agencies to provide CLE credits for attorneys and HR credits for qualifying Human Resources professionals, with both disciplines expected to provide in excess of 10 credit hours.
