U & Improved Leadership Foundation Sends First Scholarship Recipients Through Teen Leadership Program, Prepares For Year Two
Scottsdale, Ariz. (PRWEB) November 17, 2016 -- U & Improved Leadership Foundation, a Scottsdale-based nonprofit organization that provides leadership development training scholarships to deserving teens, sent its first group of teens through U & Improved’s weekend-long U the Teen Leader class in mid-August.
The U the Teen Leader program gives teen participants, ages 14-18, the opportunity to develop techniques to stay focused, build trusting relationships, unleash their inner strength, discover their core values, experience teamwork and become the person they aspire to be.
The 2016 class, the largest in history, had 21 teen graduates who came from diverse backgrounds, ranging from athletes to scholars preparing for their first year in college. The graduates, 14 were there on scholarships from U & Improved Leadership Foundation. Tuition typically costs close to $2,000 per person.

With the financial help of partnerships and private donations, U & Improved Leadership Foundation can provide scholarships to eligible teens who otherwise would not be able to afford the U the Teen Leader program tuition.
