myHereGuide.com offers tools to help shoppers navigate the most current Thanksgiving weekend deals and opening times. Consumers can check local listings on myHereGuide for individual store hours.

Gone are the days when holiday shopping simply meant checking the ads in the Sunday paper to see which retailers had the best deals. Now, the discounts start right after Halloween and sometimes earlier. But the sale frenzy doesn’t really start until the week of Thanksgiving.

Despite retailers' efforts to get shoppers to shop online and before the Thanksgiving weekend, studies still show that 61% of shoppers say they expect in-store deals to be better than online deals, and 64% of shoppers say that they get deals on Thanksgiving weekend that they can't get at any other time.

For consumers that like to shop in-store and want to make a plan but are short on time, myHereGuide.com makes it simple to navigate the most current Black Friday deals and store hours. On the Holiday Hours page, shoppers can find their favorite retailers listed.

It's important to note that even for a given retailer, store hours can vary by location. Some states prohibit certain stores from opening on Thanksgiving. To avoid disappointment, shoppers should click on the local listing for the store in their city on myHereGuide.com and verify its holiday hours there.

Links to sales are also listed for the stores. Accessible from the links are information to help shoppers get deals, such as JC Penney's in-store coupons for either $10 off $10, $100 off $100 or $500 off $500. The information also helps them navigate the logistics, such as how to get tickets for Best Buy's in-store doorbuster shopping.
