QuickPivot, the cloud-based, cross-channel marketing platform enabling B2B and B2C companies to market at customer speed, today announced the appointment of Bob Boehnlein, founder and CEO of Perscio, to the QuickPivot board of directors. Boehnlein brings three decades of experience working in software technologies that help companies gain value out of data through analytics.
"We are thrilled to have Bob support QuickPivot’s growth by joining our board of directors,” said Paul Mandeville, chief product officer, QuickPivot. “With expertise in data management and analysis, Bob will inform our strategy and expand the company's influence in the martech space as it continues to grow into the enterprise market.”
Boehnlein's experience encompasses both product and service companies. As CEO of Perscio, a big data consultancy, Boehnlein assists companies to bridge the gap between the technical world of big data and the practical aspects of business strategy. Prior to that, he was the general manager for marketing operations at Teradata, a leading provider of cloud-based application software and big data analytics technology. While there, he led the business strategy for delivering its industry-leading marketing resource management solution to Global 2,000 companies.
"Many early generation omnichannel campaign solutions have failed to meet the objectives of the changing market. They aren't nimble, fast and simple to use. They don't provide a marketer the ability to personally engage with the system to drive more rapid campaign creation. QuickPivot has the product and vision to be the next-generation campaign solution, and I'm looking forward to helping grow its enterprise business further," Said Boehlein.
Boehnlein joined Teradata upon its 2011 acquisition of Aprimo-- a first generation marketing platform that spearheaded the industry adoption of integrated marketing management. In his time there, he spent a decade that included acting as head of R&D, chief customer officer, chief marketing officer and head of services. He played an instrumental role in driving a tenfold increase in revenues and bringing Aprimo to prominence as a leader in integrated marketing management technologies. He also was a partner at Ernst & Young LLP, where he assisted global companies in defining and executing strategies for leveraging CRM technologies.
In 2012 he was named to B2B Marketing magazine's "Who's Who" list for demand generation. He holds a master's degree in computer science from UCLA and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
