Mashable and America’s Test Kitchen Partner to Produce Six-Part Facebook Live Series
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 17, 2016 -- Mashable, a leading digital media and entertainment company, and America’s Test Kitchen, the home cook’s essential resource for recipes that work, today announced they are partnering to host a series of food and DIY themed episodes, exclusively for Facebook Live.
“The combination of Mashable and America’s Test Kitchen has proven to resonate with our combined audiences, both on-site and across social platforms,” said Eric Korsh, President of Mashable Studios. “We’re incredibly excited to team up with ATK yet again for this Facebook Live series and hope the experimentation with these live formats will lead to further and expanded partnerships between the two companies in the future.”
The series, which will be produced and distributed by Mashable’s Studios division, will feature Cook's Science Executive Editors, Dan Souza and Molly Birnbaum, to experiment with and incubate a variety of live formats. The episodes will be non-traditional cooking segments with the first three episodes airing around noon as follows:
Friday November 18 – Koji Thanksgiving Turkey
Friday December 2 – Cocktails: Drinking Your Way Through The Holidays
Friday December 15 – Science Behind Your Favorite Holiday Foods
The second three episodes are scheduled for early 2017, and with the potential to air more based on audience response.
America’s Test Kitchen CEO David Nussbaum said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Mashable once again on these Facebook Live episodes, delivering exclusive content that is both timely and innovative. The partnership enables us to further grow our reach by utilizing Facebook, delivering quality cooking content to our existing fans while also introducing America’s Test Kitchen and Cook’s Science to a whole new audience.”
This partnership is the second time that Mashable and America’s Test Kitchen have teamed up. The two companies previously partnered to host a series of live-streaming, interactive dinner parties from the America’s Test Kitchen studios in Brookline, MA. The live streams were a huge success for both companies resulting in approximately six thousand shares.
