Beaumont Solar Expands and Opens New Office in Providence, Rhode Island to Service Local Customers and Meet Growing Solar Demand
Providence, RI (PRWEB) November 18, 2016 -- Beaumont Solar, a leading, full-service solar developer and Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) company, announced today the opening of their new Rhode Island office located in Providence. Having already established a strong presence with solar projects in Cranston, Middletown, North Kingston, Pawtucket, and Westerly, the addition of a regional office will enable Beaumont to continue supporting its customers, while growing the clean energy economy. Transforming the once fabled whaling town of New Bedford into a solar powerhouse, Beaumont has had a long track record of building strong community ties and business relationships.
Beaumont has partnered with environmental services, millwork and construction, specialty manufacturing, food production, and storage customers in Rhode Island since 2010 – adding a local office will further underscore its commitment to customers seeking to leverage solar not only for its clean energy attributes, but also numerous financial benefits.
Beaumont’s approach takes into account each individual customer’s tax and financial appetite, energy footprint, sustainability, and other parameters, to develop a unique and tailored plan. This high level of customization not only includes project development, but also financial and regulatory expertise, resulting in rapid project ROI and high customer satisfaction. Additionally, Beaumont’s extensive construction capabilities means that all work is completed in-house, and workmanship is guaranteed.
“We are pleased to expand our operations to meet the needs of our Rhode Island customers, while leveraging a skilled and knowledgeable workforce,” said Phil Cavallo, President and CEO of Beaumont Solar. “With customers and a number of our key Executives already calling Rhode Island home, Beaumont’s new office is a natural extension of our operations, enabling us to provide local, dedicated support.”
The Renewable Energy Growth (REG) program, established by Rhode Island, has set an impressive goal of reaching 160 MW of green energy production by 2019. To support this goal, the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (OER) created the Renewable Energy Fund (REF) which provides grants and loans for solar projects, and the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) that enables energy producers to sell their generation output. New programs such as the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program, allows building owners to gain access to financing solar, requires zero capital outlay, and generates immediate positive cash flow from day one. State (and federal) tax exemptions also provide additional incentives that make solar not only economically feasible, but among the strongest capital investment opportunities available.
The increase in demand for renewables, most notably solar, is driving significant growth of the clean energy economy in the Ocean State. According to OER’s 2016 Annual Report, the State has seen a 40% job growth rate in the clean energy sector over the previous year, by over 13,000 workers who helped build nearly 40 MW of installed solar capacity. A Rhode Island based office will enable Beaumont Solar to service current customers, expand the state’s solar capacity, create clean energy jobs, and address a key geographic market.
