Protocol released drones for the upcoming Holiday 2016 season with new models featuring auto hover, auto launch and auto land as well as drones with Wi-Fi and apps for both Apple and Android and HD video. Drones are currently available in Best Buy, Macy’s, Barnes & Noble, Bloomingdale’s, and Dillard’s stores.

VideoDrone AP and the larger Dronium One AP feature auto hover, launch and land. Auto hover enables drones to maintain altitude automatically freeing up pilots to focus on direction, stunts and video. Auto launch and land allows the user to take off and land with just the touch of a button. A camera is also included in both drones for aerial photos and video.

Dronium Two AP auto hovers and includes a 2-megapixel, HD camera.

Dronium III AP features auto hover, launch and land. A 2-megapixel, HD camera blasts a Wi-Fi signal and along with a free downloadable app, pilots can fly from the app as well as shoot and download photos and videos direct to their smartphones.

TerraCopter EVO drives like a race car, and can switch seamlessly into flight. It also features auto hover, launch and land. The built-in camera blasts a Wi-Fi signal and like Dronium III, pilots can fly direct from the app and can download photos and videos to their smartphones.

Galileo Stealth, the largest of the new models, includes a 2-megapixel, HD camera with a 1-axis gimbal allowing an increased 90° range of motion. Pilots can control the gimbal from the remote control making it easy to create panoramic, aerial shots. The camera also blasts a Wi-Fi signal and using the app, pilots can record and store photos and video. It also features auto hover, launch and land.
