USF School of Management Names Lori Bush Executive-in-Residence
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (PRWEB) November 21, 2016 -- Lori Bush, former president and CEO of the premium skincare company Rodan + Fields, has been appointed to serve as the first-ever executive-in-residence at the University of San Francisco’s School of Management, Dean Elizabeth Davis has announced.
As part of her responsibilities as executive-in-residence, Bush will lecture in the classroom and advise students, create and moderate panels open to the USF community, support signature events including the annual Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Conference, and serve as a member of the School of Management Advisory Board.
“We are thrilled to have Lori Bush become a part of our team,” said Davis. “Given her previous experience, leadership, and connections in industry, she will help provide meaningful experiential opportunities for our students as well as lessons and insight that will contribute to their success going forward.” Davis added, “I look forward to seeing her engage with students, faculty, alumni, and the entire USF community.”
Bush’s career launched as a research scientist in med tech and culminated as the President and CEO of Rodan + Fields where, under her leadership, the company launched a transformative social commerce marketing platform and grew to become one of the largest premium skincare brands in the country. Bush retired from operational management in January, 2016, and now enjoys the diversity associated with consulting, speaking and corporate board service.
Bush formerly served as president of Nu Skin International, and during her 25 years in the consumer and healthcare products industry, she led product innovation, marketing, business development and overall business operations for several global brands. Bush also held leadership positions with Johnson & Johnson Consumer Product Companies, including worldwide executive director of Skin Care Ventures and vice president of Professional Marketing at Neutrogena. She holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Temple University.
Bush is a sought-after speaker at industry events, co-author of a best-selling skincare book, and has authored numerous papers and articles dealing with business strategy and leadership.
