Large Footrest, Shorter Supports, and Nickel Rail Provide Even More Options for Handicare Customers
Allentown, PA (PRWEB) November 21, 2016 -- Handicare, a global leader in stairlift manufacturing, continues to expand its product options to meet the diverse needs of its customers. The popular Freecurve stairlift can now be outfitted with a larger footrest, shorter supports, and/or nickel rail as the manufacturer continues to expand its portfolio.
The Freecurve large footrest option provides a safer, easier transfer for users by providing a smooth, level connection between the footrest and landing. Developed based on customer feedback, the width of the footrest is equal to the width of the unit. This allows for a continuous connection between the footrest and the top landing. The large footrest also comes without raised sides to enable the user to slide his/her feet off the footrest more easily. It can be combined with the powered or illuminated options and foot restraints are also available.
Another feature with the user in mind is the offering of shorter supports, or stanchions. Facilitating the user’s ability to get on and off the lift, shorter supports lower the unit by one inch at the top, bottom, and intermediate landing for an easier and more comfortable transfer when getting on and off the stairlift.
For the finishing touch, Handicare has added a stylish nickel finish for the Freecurve stairlift.
