"Gibb's wows guests with its charming cottages and breathtaking views."

Gibb’s Farm has been honored yet again with a prestigious Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice award. Ranking No. 2 in Africa on the World’s 50 Best Hotels list, the estate is being internationally recognized for its fourth consecutive year.

“Gibb’s Farm is a wonderful sanctuary located in Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and it fully deserves to receive such prestigious recognition year after year,” said Judi Wineland, co-founder, Thomson Safaris. “Its standard of luxury and comfort, coupled with its farm-to-table, sustainable practices, is why the resort is included on a number of our safaris, and why it’s a favorite among many of our guests.”

Gibb’s Farm was originally built as a coffee plantation in 1929 and now wows guests with its charming cottages and breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Travelers stay in charming cottages with their own private verandahs, receive extraordinary service, and have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities, from guided walks to Maasai-inspired spa treatments.

About the award: The annual Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice awards call on readers to submit ratings for their favorite experiences all over the world. More than 300,000 travelers contributed to the 2016 Readers' Choice Awards survey, setting a record for the magazine.
