Black Tie Party Collects Thousands of Teddy Bears for Sick Children
San Diego, Ca (PRWEB) November 24, 2016 -- The Teddy Ball is an exclusive black tie gala that takes place this Saturday at the Hilton Mission Bay in San Diego. Overlooking the bay, the contemporary beachfront resort will host over 1,500 guests, featuring exotic cars, dazzling magic acts, live music and entertainment, delicious cocktails, a silent auction, and photos with Santa Claus and his elves.
The first holiday party of the season, the Teddy Ball is organized by Cruise 4 Kids, a non-profit organization, benefiting Boys & Girls of San Dieguito. The Teddy Ball celebrates San Diego's most beautiful people and creates a collection of thousands of new stuffed Teddy Bears donated to help sick and underprivileged children. Cruise 4 Kids aims to raise over $10,000 for charity and collect thousands of Teddy Bears.
This is the fourth year the annual charity event is taking place. “The Teddy Ball is a great time for San Diegans to socialize, fundraise, and have a fabulous time—while raising money for the Boys & Girls Club of San Dieguito. There is no other charity event that brings the community together by putting smiles on the faces of children through Teddy Bears,” says May Nguyen, this year’s co-host of the Teddy Ball. As a young girl, Nguyen also attended the Boys and Girls Club. “I’m touched by this organization because as a little girl, I remember how they helped my family after my father’s death. For that, I am forever grateful.”
Join May Nguyen and thousands of others in attendance as they party for a purpose on Saturday, November 26th from 7:30 pm to 1:00 am. General admission tickets are $100 and VIP tickets are $225. For more information about the Teddy Ball, please visit http://theteddyball.com/
