Centric Bank Executives Support Pennsylvania Bankers Education
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) November 23, 2016 -- Members of the Centric Bank executive management team were involved in a variety of roles for the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s banking schools over the summer months. Patti Husic, Centric Bank’s President & CEO, was one of four CEO panelists for the Advanced School of Banking. In this role, Husic sat on a CEO panel which answered questions directly from students; the panelists also provided feedback to students who were presenting their bank simulations as part of the third-year curriculum. The three-year Advanced School of Banking provides a greater understanding of the multiple banking disciplines and how those disciplines work together within the bank. The program is designed for banking professionals seeking to increase their knowledge, skill and personal and professional growth. Graduates of the Advanced School of Banking are eligible to apply for American Bankers Association (ABA) Stonier’s Accelerated two-year program.
Leslie Meck, Chief Retail Officer at Centric Bank, served on the committee for the PBA School of Banking. The Committee is responsible for reviewing the operational aspects of the school and evaluating school curriculum to ensure it is relevant and meets PBA member banks’ educational needs. The week-long school, conducted at Penn Stater Conference Center in State College, PA, provides an overview of the general banking environment and internal bank management functions.
Jeff Myers, Chief Lending Officer, was an instructor at the PBA School of Commercial Lending, where he instructed students on techniques for presenting a loan to a board for review and approval. The School primarily focuses on business development, credit structuring, and the practical application of commercial lending knowledge, as well as client and internal communication.
