Cal Net Technology Group and Kevin Harrington, an original Shark on ABC’s SHARK TANK, co-hosted a Shark Tank-Style Innovation Competition that began on September 14th, 2016 and concluded on October 26th, 2016 at Cal Net’s OktoberTEK Event.
OktoberTEK is Cal Net Technology Group’s largest event of the year, offering business executives and IT professionals the opportunity to gain valuable insights and learn about emerging technologies from industry leaders. Cal Net’s Shark Tank-Style Innovation Competition had two separate divisions - one for college students and one for business professionals. The final pitch session for the competition took place at this year’s OktoberTEK event, with the top two finalists from each division giving a three minute pitch to Cal Net’s Shark, VP of Sales Gavin Zimmer, and Kevin Harrington.
Cal Net, with Gavin and Kevin, officially announced the OktoberTEK Shark Tank-Style contest winners today. Cal Net congratulates the Shark Tank-Style Innovation Competition 1st and 2nd place winners (winners and awards received listed below):
1st Place - Muris Mulalic - MyGymPals – Awarded $1000 in cash and $5000 of IT Services from Cal Net
2nd Place – Alexis Schomer - RepWatch – Awarded $500 in cash and $3000 of IT services from Cal Net
1st Place – Brent Reger - ActiveBooth - Awarded $1000 in cash and one-on-on 30 minute consultation with Kevin Harrington
2nd Place –Ludovic Francois with TrackIt - Awarded $500 in cash
