The Frank L. Stile Foundation Celebrates Fifth Anniversary; Donates 1 Million Meals to Children
LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) November 28, 2016 -- The Frank L. Stile Foundation (FLS) hosts a Holiday Giving Winter Carnival on Dec. 2 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at 8954 Spanish Ridge Ave, Suite 1. The event is open to the public and features rides, carnival acts, games, toy drive, food, and drinks. The highlight of the evening is the FLS Foundation Giving Event, with major donations to Three Square, The Shade Tree, and St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. The FLS Foundation will present a check for 500,000 meals to Feeding America, a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding the hungry throughout the U.S. In celebration of 5 years of successful giving, the FLS Foundation Holiday Giving Winter Carnival will commemorate 1 million-plus meals served. Founded in 2011, the FLS Foundation was created by Dr. Stile to serve the needs of children in crisis. With over 860,000 meals donated through 2015, the FLS Foundation aims to end child hunger, one meal at a time. Via donations, the FLS Foundation supports local and national food banks. In addition to help from generous supporters, most of the initiatives are personally funded by Dr. Stile. Stile’s plastic surgery practice is the first and only in Nevada that dedicates a portion of all proceeds to provide meals and services to help children in need, both locally and nationally.
The FLS Foundation’s team members are committed to volunteering, and devote countless hours to the local Las Vegas community. Recipients of the FLS Foundation Holiday Giving Event include Three Square, Southern Nevada’s only food bank providing food assistance to the residents of Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln, Nye Counties. Three Square’s mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community. The Shade Tree provides safe shelter to homeless and abused women and children in crisis and offers life-changing services promoting stability, dignity, and self-reliance.
