Atlas Van Lines Recognizes A-1 Moving and Storage With the Milton M. Hill Quality Award
Jupiter, FL (PRWEB) November 29, 2016 -- Atlas, comprised of over 350 agents in the United States, has been presenting this award since 1996 in memory of its director Milt Hill, who was an exceptional example of quality, professionalism and dedication to his organization and the industry.
The Milton M. Hill Quality Award was given to 41 Atlas Agents who were recognized for being the best in the industry. After carefully tracking the entire agent base for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction and on the basis of the ratings given in 12 areas that include claims experience and operations, the award is bestowed upon those agents who have met or exceeded the goals of this high level of performance. A-1 Moving & Storage was presented this esteemed honor at the 69th Annual Atlas Convention on November 17th in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
In another award, A-1 Moving & Storage achieved recognition as a Certified Sustainable Agent for its commitment to the environment and sustainable business practices. This recognition was the result of completing a baseline of tasks and documented sustainable efforts throughout the year in five areas: materials management, transportation, business administration, facilities, and community. Atlas Van Lines developed the Sustainable Agent Certification program in cooperation with Sustainable America, a nonprofit organization that consults in the areas of fuel and food conservation.
A-1 Moving & Storage was also recognized for the amount of sales they made during the Convention Year (July 1 through June 30). Given that they had surpassed $1,000,000 in sales, the Atlas’ Sales Achievement Award was bestowed upon them.
Additionally, A-1 Moving & Storage walked off with the Atlas Hauling Achievement Award in recognition of their line-haul revenue which, for the Convention Year, exceeded $750,000. This recognition was the result of the company having successfully handled a significant amount of household goods volume while maintaining excellence in their operations. The award was also given because A-1 Moving & Storage has received at least a 90 percent favorable response when customers are asked if they would again choose the agency's services.
