iaedp™ Foundation Announces Distinctive Scholarships for 31st Annual Symposium
Pekin, IL (PRWEB) November 25, 2016 -- The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) Foundation announces award opportunities for distinctive scholarships for its 31st annual iaedp Symposium, scheduled for March 22 - 26 at the Green Valley Resort and Spa in Las Vegas. Intended for first-time attendees or iaedp members with financial need, the scholarships are awarded from December 1, 2016 through December 15, 2017.
The 2017 Symposium offers five days of training sessions and instructive presentations by accomplished industry professionals, including its precertification courses onsite at the start of the Symposium. Early registration is still available at iaedp.com.
“The goal for all of the scholarships is to help more members experience the Symposium,” said Bonnie Harken, Managing Director at The iaedp Foundation. “Like in the past, the 2017 iaedp Symposium will be a unique chance to learn and explore the field of eating disorder treatment and research among the most noted eating disorder experts in the world. And there are many opportunities to network, both on and off the Symposium schedule.”
The Financial Aid Scholarships cover a majority of the iaedp Symposium registration fees while the Dick Wilson Scholarship Fund covers the cost of one full symposium registration. The Christian Hartline Scholarship covers all registration fees and includes $1,000 toward transportation and hotel expenses.
The Erin Riederer Foundation Scholarship provides financial support towards completion of the iaedp certification process. Clinicians seeking traditional certification are encouraged to apply by stating reasons why certification is important to them and how this scholarship will support their process.
For those interested in applying for scholarships, questionnaires can be completed and submitted online. Awards are provided based on answers to the application questions. To review the application and reply, go to http://conta.cc/2gqiZV1.
