Service First Mortgage Announces Branch Manager Promotion
McKinney, TX (PRWEB) November 30, 2016 -- Service First Mortgage, a leading Texas-based mortgage lender, continues to demonstrate its culture of promoting from within through the recent promotion of Carlos Garza to branch manager for the Laredo, Texas office. He will focus on the continued development of the current team of loan officers and support staff, in addition to new production growth.
Garza holds over 17 years of mortgage industry experience. He began his career with Service First Mortgage in 2009 as a loan officer in Laredo. Garza demonstrated his leadership skills through the development of relationships with the Laredo community and business partners. Through many referrals and closed loans he has earned the right to be a trusted adviser to many in his community and at Service First Mortgage.

Garza has grown his production year-over-year since joining Service First Mortgage. In 2015, he qualified for the President’s Club and is on pace to qualify again in 2016. The President’s Club recognizes the efforts and achievements of top producers within Service First Mortgage. Carlos contributes his production growth to a few key changes he made when coming to Service First Mortgage. Carlos is a good student and Service First has taught him the value of having a written plan, written goals and an accountability partner to stay focused. He has embraced coaching and has stayed focused on the right tasks that help move his business forward.
Garza is heavily involved with his community and church. He credits his success to his family. He has three children with his wife, Kristina, who is a loan officer assistant in the Laredo branch. She stepped in to help her husband when Garza was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. She has been a key addition to his team and has helped him take his business to the next level. In 2014, Garza joined Todd Duncan on-stage at the Sales Mastery Conference to share his story of how he fought cancer and has continued to grow his business. This was a big honor for Garza and for those who have helped him throughout this challenging time.
