VIDL Network™, a Comprehensive eLearning Platform Allowing Global Access for Enhancing Technical Skills Announces Expansion into Environmental Sciences
Houston TX (PRWEB) November 30, 2016 -- VIDL Network™ (powered by IGC) is pleased to announce the expansion of their earth science courses with the addition of new courses for users interested in expanding their knowledge of environmental sciences. This new development is designed to expand the growth and collaborative efforts between VIDL, industry partners, and clients. VIDL is launching this new venture through its newly designed website, allowing potential users access to its offerings and to showcase their growing portfolio of eLearning solutions designed for several different physical sciences markets.
The new courses were developed by Sachin Butala, an environmental engineer recruited to add real world experience and knowledge to the new discipline within the VIDL Network. Mr. Butala starts the series with new course modules and related projects that will encompass many aspects of environmental regulatory processes. These will include topics such as environment assessment of property, occupational safety, and monitoring and management of air, water and waste.
Modern learning science suggest that reading and studying a topic alone is not sufficient to become adept in a subject, but that proficiency is gained through practice of the topic. Based on this, the VIDL Network is an online, module-based training site that combines learning with the execution of real earth science projects. Additionally, it provides a community discussion site for real time, social interaction with the educators and other scholars both individually and in groups.
According to Corine Prieto, Founder and CEO of VIDL and IGC, “The industry is demanding that earth science jobs require individuals with multi-tasking skills and talents in data mining, log analysis, economic assessment as well. Our new offering is designed to help those who are constantly trying to improve and wants to stay abreast with new applications and new interpretation techniques. Adding new competencies that complement their existing knowledge is one way to differentiate in a competitive market.”
Additional modules are being developed and will be added as they are completed. VIDL will continually be adding new content for other areas of study.
