“I’m proud to say every Bambeco gift is made sustainably, with the future of the planet and its people in mind. This holiday, I’m proud to take our commitment one step forward by asking consumers to gift a tree," said Susan Aplin, Bambeco Co-Founder & CEO

Bambeco, the premier brand for sustainable home goods, is committed to helping consumers live a more sustainable lifestyle and lower their carbon footprint. Today, the company has taken that commitment one step forward by launching the Gift a Tree program. This holiday season, for just $5, consumers can Gift a Tree to a loved one and plant a seed for a brighter future. Bambeco already plants a tree with every purchase, but now consumers can continue the positive impact on the planet by gifting additional trees.
Trees are our best allies to help combat climate change and are crucial for our planet’s wildlife and biodiversity. In addition to filtering pollutants from stormwater runoff and preventing soil erosion, trees renew and clean our air supply by producing oxygen and absorbing ozone-depleting pollutants. The long-term health of our planet depends on the protection and restoration of our trees and forests. And this holiday season, consumers can help by gifting a tree through Bambeco.
“I’m proud to say every Bambeco gift is made sustainably, with the future of the planet and its people in mind. This holiday, I’m proud to take our commitment one step forward by asking consumers to gift a tree," said Susan Aplin, Bambeco Co-Founder and CEO. “So when you give Bambeco, you gift the Earth.”
To commemorate the gift to the planet, Bambeco will send the giftee a card with a beautiful post-consumer recycled paper ornament with instructions on how to register their tree and choose the forest restoration project their tree is planted in. Giftees can choose from planting their tree in forests throughout the U.S. including Klamath National Forest in California, Ottawa National Forest in Michigan, Chippewa National Forest in Minnesota, Deschutes National Forest in Oregon, South Quay Sandhills and Chub Sandhills State Natural Area Preserves, both in Virginia. Bambeco recently committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2020 and the Gift a Tree program will help towards reaching that goal.
The Gift a Tree program launches on Giving Tuesday this year, as gifting a tree is the perfect way to give back to the planet this holiday season. With every order made on Giving Tuesday, Bambeco will plant a tree with each purchase and also gift consumers another tree to send to a loved one to be planted in their honor. Inside each shipment, consumers will find a complimentary commemorative recycled paper ornament to gift this holiday season.
Consumers can share their commitment to our planet and gifting trees this holiday by joining the conversation on social media by tagging Bambeco and using the hashtag #GiftingTrees to share why they are planting a seed for a brighter future this holiday season.
