Brand to Award Free Catered Parties to Five Deserving Organizations Nominated by Pita Pit Team Members and Guests

For Pita Pit, the “Fresh Thinking, Healthy Eating” restaurant franchise, giving back to the local communities it serves has always been a top priority. Across the brand’s United States locations, owners, employees and guests frequently find new ways to help those in need. Now, during the holiday season of giving, the brand is launching a new campaign centered on its commitment to charity called “Cater for a Cause.”

Through December 5, Pita Pit fans across the country can visit the “Cater for a Cause” tab on the brand’s Facebook page to nominate any business, non-profit, school or other community organization that they believe is deserving of a free, catered Pita Pit party. Nominations should explain, in 250 words or less, how the organization positively impacts the community. A panel of judges will then review those submissions and select 15 for the public to vote on through a Facebook photo album. The polls will be open from December 12 to December 19. The top five nominees—one from each region of the U.S.—will ultimately be declared the lucky winners.
