CURE® Magazine is Seeking Nominations for the 2017 Extraordinary Healer® Award
Plainsboro, NJ (PRWEB) November 29, 2016 -- CURE® Magazine is seeking nominations for a remarkable oncology nurse for its 2017 Extraordinary Healer® Award, announced CURE® Media Group President Michael J. Hennessy, Jr. Additionally, the nurse should demonstrate exemplary compassion and expertise towards patient care.
In making the announcement, Michael J. Hennessy, Jr, said, “We are extremely excited to be accepting nominations for this year’s Extraordinary Healer® Award and delighted to recognize another exceptional oncology nurse who goes above and beyond to make a real difference in the care for his or her patients.”
On March 1st, three finalists will be selected by the CURE® staff and will receive free airfare and accommodations for the nominee, the person who nominated them, and one guest, to the Oncology Nursing Society’s 42nd Annual Congress, which takes place on May 4-7, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. The winner will win a special prize for their outstanding service in patient care, and will be given the opportunity to present their essay at the gala, which will also include food, music and a guest speaker. All finalist essays may be featured in a 2017 issue of CURE® Magazine, CURE®xtra, or CureToday®.com.
Any current or former patient, caregivers, or colleague can nominate a special oncology nurse by submitting a 700-1000-word essay on the extraordinary impact that nurse has had on their care.
