Clinical Supplies Management Founder and CSO Gerald Finken to Present at MassBio’s Innovation in Clinical Supplies Forum
Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) November 30, 2016 -- Clinical Supplies Management (CSM) announced today that Company founder and chief scientific officer Mr. Gerald Finken will present at "Innovation in Clinical Supplies: The Cornerstone to the Next Generation of Patient-Centric Clinical Research" Forum. The Forum will take place on December 12, 2016, 12 noon to 2 p.m., at the MassBio office in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Center Point Clinical Services CEO Mr. Joe Martinez and Trialogics CEO Mr. Chris Gropp will also present. The Forum is open to the public. Please click here to register.
The Forum will review various new clinical supply management and Direct-to-Patient strategies currently being deployed to improve clinical trial success. It will also explore the increasing role of the site-less CRO and supporting technology in the evolving world of clinical trials.
“The big question we must ask ourselves today is - are drugs failing clinical trials or are clinical trials failing the drugs? Asked Mr. Finken. “We believe the latter. The next question, then, is: how do we better help today’s innovative therapies successfully, timely and cost effectively cross regulatory and commercialization finish lines?”
Mr. Finken continued, “There is a growing acceptance of precision medicine and its impact on healthcare economics. The panel at the MassBio Forum next week will address how precision medication and biomarkers are already changing the economics of clinical trials. We will also review new strategies and technologies designed to better engage and retain patients as well as improve clinical trial success. We look forward to meeting attendees, learning their concerns and discussing how we may work together towards a simpler and healthier future.”
The Forum Agenda includes the following topics:
• On-Demand packaging and labeling of clinical supplies
• Direct-to-patient shipping
• Home healthcare providers
• Virtual healthcare providers
• Configurable IRT systems for more cost-effective and targeted trials
• Expanded ePRO for more efficient clinical supplies
• Integration of additional clinical systems for improved site/clinical supply management
• Integrated logistics
