Time is of the essence for most travelers. Whether traveling for business or for pleasure, tourists have limited time on their trips. Their aim is always to maximize the time allotted to achieve what they have come to that place for – to complete a business task, to see the sights, to collect experiences, or to see friends and loved ones. More often than not, travelers don't have time to waste commuting from place to place just because their accommodations are far off from the destinations on their itinerary.
This is where Nearow.com comes in. Nearow.com is a new travel planning and resource website that aims to bring travelers as close to their destination as possible. The website does this by helping its visitors search for hotels within walking distance to their desired destinations.
"It's not fair to waste precious travel time stuck in traffic when you're supposed to be sightseeing or doing something fun during your trip," says Michael Curtis, CEO of Nearow.com. "After all, not all of us have a lot of time to spare when on vacation or on a business trip."
As a seasoned traveler who has spent considerable time abroad, Curtis knows the hassles of going to a country where a tourist can get easily confused with the unfamiliar and sometimes inconvenient public transport system. He states that relying on taxis is not always the smart choice. Taxi fare can be expensive, and the driver can hike up the fare by taking their passengers the long way to their destination.
"Finding a hotel nearest to their destination, within walking distance if possible, is the smartest and most convenient move when traveling," says Curtis. "It saves you time going from place to place, and it saves you money on fares too."
Aside from helping travelers find hotels nearest to the stop points on their itineraries, Nearow.com also has a feature where they can book car rentals. According to Curtis, driving a rental car can be more suitable if the traveler is already familiar with where they are going. "Driving a rented car can get you there more quickly and easily than relying on public transport," he states.
Curtis additionally announced that a feature that will let travelers book their flights directly on Nearow.com is also in the works. Moreover, Nearow.com has a blog with articles and information where tourists can learn more about the places to which they will be traveling.
"Convenience is the key when you have a limited time frame with which to enjoy your trip," says Curtis. "We aim to be that one-stop shop that offers this precious convenience to our visitors when they travel."
Nearow.com is an online travel planning resource and blog. The site's goal is to help travelers get closer to their destinations by booking the nearest hotel accommodations possible and reducing reliance on public transport on their trips.
