The United Brotherhood of Carpenters Supports Nomination of Elaine Chao for Secretary of Transportation
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) December 01, 2016 -- The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC,) representing over 500,000 members, announced their support of President-elect Donald J. Trump’s nomination of Elaine Chao for Secretary of Transportation. The UBC enjoyed a strong working relationship with Chao in her previous posts - both as Secretary of Labor and as Deputy Secretary of Transportation. With Chao’s long history of public service and vast experience with transportation issues, the UBC is optimistic about the newly appointed head of the Department of Transportation.
