CREO, Inc., a fast-growing management consulting and advisory firm launched in the heart of the Research Triangle Park, is pleased to announce that Joan Siefert Rose is joining the firm as Senior Partner. CREO is dedicated to perfecting business operations in the health, life sciences, and technology markets.

“We are very excited to have Joan join our team of trusted advisors,” said Susan Acker-Walsh, CEO and Co-Founder of CREO. “CREO’s clients will benefit from Joan’s ability to drive innovative and collaborative thinking, as well as her track record of helping organizations improve the effectiveness of their operations.”

Rose currently serves as president and CEO of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, the largest and longest-running entrepreneurial network in the country.  CED has helped thousands of technology and life science-based startups in North Carolina scale and grow, attracting tens of billions of dollars in venture capital. Under her leadership, CED has become a trusted source on the state of the entrepreneurial sector not just in North Carolina, but also in emerging entrepreneurial hubs across the nation.

As a Senior Partner, Rose will contribute to CREO’s focus on helping companies drive innovation internally, facilitate collaboration among diverse teams to address opportunities, and provide both strategic thinking and operational experience to businesses and nonprofits.

“I’m thrilled to join the CREO team and look forward to sharing my experience and expertise with clients – solving problems in the service of their important missions,” said Rose. “I plan to stay in touch with the many great entrepreneurs and community leaders that I’ve had the privilege of meeting during my 15 years leading organizations in the Research Triangle region.”

Prior to joining CED in 2008, Rose was general manager of North Carolina Public Radio – WUNC (91.5 FM), the public radio service of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is the winner of both the George Foster Peabody Award for excellence in radio or television, and the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award, the broadcasting equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize.
