A new profile of wildlife sanctuaries appears on the popular series.

The voice behind the mask of Darth Vader now hosts an educational series that highlights issues and subjects in modern society. "Front Page Profile" covers a variety of topics, and one of the newest episodes takes a look at wildlife sanctuaries.

Environmental change is a hot-button issue that creates a significant amount of political strife at its very mention; however, the evidence clearly states that many of the species on our planet are threatened. Numerous species have gone extinct in recent years and even more are on the threatened or endangered species list. Because of this, wildlife sanctuaries have become more important than ever. These are national lands that are protected by the government from the development that typically destroys the habitats of some of the most precious species on this planet. Furthermore, these are places that people can come and visit some species that aren't found anywhere else on the planet. For this reason, "Front Page" took the time to film an episode and educate the public about the importance of these sanctuaries. This will preserve these unique animals and plants for generations to come.

"Front Page" with James Earl Jones is a public television program that is reviewed for quality standards. It is delivered to PBS Member Stations and Public Television for larger broadcast.
