OUR SINGLE-ESTATE CACAO FARM
SPAGnVOLA’s exquisite chocolate is grown on a private estate of 450-acres in the Dominican Republic and is owned by Eric and Crisoire Reid. The Reids cultivate and harvest heirloom quality cacao beans to be fermented, dried, and shipped to SPAGnVOLA’s own manufacturing facility in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

As Head Chocolatier, Crisoire Reid creates exquisite, artisan truffles and bonbons resembling fine jewelry. In addition to serving some of the best chocolate in the Washington-Metropolitan area, free factory tours are offered on weekends along with chocolate-making classes, birthday parties and private events.

OUR COMPANY
SPAGnVOLA® is a premium chocolate brand and boutique (pronounced as spang – vola, meaning Hispaniola in Creole). The name refers to the island on which the Dominican Republic is located. SPAGnVOLA® is not merely the name of an enterprise, but it is also a name that honors the land, the people, and the cultures of the owners, Eric and Crisoire Reid.

SPAGnVOLA® premium chocolates are used by Head Chocolatier, Crisoire Reid, to create artfully crafted bonbons and truffles. The result is the most aromatic and savory chocolate artwork in the world.
