Isos Technology Sponsors Outreach Effort for Warfighter Made at Atlassian User Group Event
Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) December 05, 2016 -- Isos Technology, a leading Atlassian Platinum Expert and premier Atlassian partner, recently announced that they will sponsor the upcoming San Diego, CA and Temecula, CA Atlassian User Groups’ combined end-of-year event on December 6, 2016. This event marks the launch of an extensive outreach effort that is being driven by many Atlassian User Group (AUG) leaders and members throughout the country. As part of this effort, Isos will join forces with several other companies to develop a new collaboration environment--featuring several of Atlassian’s products--for Warfighter Made, a Temecula-based, non-profit organization.
Warfighter Made is dedicated to providing recreational therapy to ill, injured and combat-wounded servicemembers and veterans. The organization accomplishes this mission through the customization and adaptation of cars, trucks and other vehicles so veterans with disabilities can continue utilizing these vehicles in their everyday lives. Furthermore, Warfighter Made organizes recreational therapy trips for veterans, such as excursions to shooting ranges, off-road events, and a variety of outdoor venues. Several disabled veterans who were wounded in combat formed the organization to enrich the lives of those in similar circumstances.
The December 6th AUG event will focus on developing a new collaboration environment for Warfighter Made that will include Confluence, JIRA for tracking projects, and JIRA Service Desk. Atlassian and their partners will donate software, and Isos will host the environment. The goal of this project is to create a true collaboration ecosystem that will maximize Warfighter Made’s efficiency, resources and efforts.
As a Gold Sponsor of this event, Isos will continue to fulfill their promise to Atlassian’s Pledge 1% Movement. Pledge 1% encourages companies to donate 1% of product, 1% of equity, 1% of profit, or 1% of employee time to improve communities around the world. This movement has attracted several notable companies including Yahoo, Yelp, Salesforce, and DocuSign.
“Isos itself has many employees who are either veterans or have family members who served in the armed forces, so this cause is near and dear to our hearts,” says Thad West, CEO of Isos Technology. “We’re thrilled that we have the opportunity to give back to the men and women who have so valiantly served our country. By lending our expertise in all things Atlassian, we can assist an extremely valuable organization and maximize our corporate philanthropy efforts in a manner that is very meaningful to us.”
