“We continually find a disconnect in pay practices between the largest companies and everyone else,” said Webb Bassick, the company’s CEO and co-founder. “Unfortunately, all of the research that exists today focuses on the former at the expense of the latter. This study aims to highlight some of those differences with up-to-date empirical research.”

The first report focuses on stock ownership guidelines for executives.

More reports are expected over the next few months including areas such as change-in-control and general severance practices.
