Life Science Logistics Triples Indianapolis Storage Capacity To Meet Massive Pharmaceutical, Medical Device Growth
Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) December 08, 2016 -- Life Science Logistics (LSL), a leading, national provider of healthcare supply chain solutions, today announced the company’s Indianapolis-based pharmaceutical and medical device distribution warehouse is tripling in size to nearly 200,000 square feet to meet massive demand for FDA-regulated storage space. LSL leadership anticipates operating the additional space will result in the creation of up to 100 new jobs.
The additional 132,000 square feet will begin operations as early as this month. The facility will feature best-in-class technology and automation to ensure world-class performance.
According to Richard Beeny, CEO of LSL, the 10-year-old company is being responsive to a fast-growing market for regulated storage capacity and supply chain solutions, and adds that the central location of the Indianapolis facility is a draw for many pharmaceutical and medical device companies looking for distribution and accessibility efficiencies.
“We’ve seen incredible growth over the last 36 months and we will continue to invest out in front of our clients’ needs,” says Beeny. “We plan for this trend to continue, and are already discussing West Coast distribution options.”
