A graduate of Washburn University School of Law and boasting five years with former annuity and life insurance giant Aviva, Martin is eager to bring his insights and experience to ChangePath.
As the director of business development, Martin will use his knowledge to help RIAs operate their businesses in a manner that optimizes client outcomes. Martin will help RIAs control the process of increasing fiduciary responsibility without increasing workload, staff or office. Martin will help RIA firms prepare for the recent Department of Labor (DOL) fiduciary ruling, remove growth barriers, tackle business complexities and streamline investment-management services into a user-friendly advisory platform that also seamlessly integrates fixed indexed annuities into client proposals and portfolios.
Martin’s expertise is invaluable to RIAs on the cusp of building out their teams or services. He’s a triple threat when it comes to estate planning, accounting and the application of risk management, and a significant resource to independent RIAs who are looking for direction and want to prepare for the DOL deadlines without additional workload or expenses.

Ambitious, detailed and determined, Martin previously worked for Aviva in the compliance department and as a sales coordinator before returning to school 2014 to acquire his J.D. From there, he joined CreativeOne as a sales recruiter to most recently a legal intern, reviewing and summarizing company contracts.
