Jennifer Hawley of Kearny Bank Receives New Leaders in Banking Award
Fairfield, NJ (PRWEB) December 08, 2016 -- The New Jersey Bankers Association and New Jersey Banker magazine recently recognized bankers under the age of 40 who show promise and potential in the local banking industry.
Jennifer Hawley of Kearny Bank was among the thirteen recipients of the "New Leader in Banking" award based on her contribution to the banking industry since 2000. To use Jennifer's own words: "Community banking, in fact banking in general, was not something I sought out, it's something I stumbled upon 16 years ago." "However, I stayed and plan to stay because it gives me a chance to give back to our Kearny Bank communities on a professional and personal level," Hawley, Vice President/Assistant Director of Retail Banking/Northern Region says.
Hawley is the 2016-17 President Elect of the Rotary Club of the Caldwells and the Caldwell Street Fair Chairwoman. She volunteers at Camp Merry Heart for disabled children and "Willing Hearts" in Caldwell.
Kearny Bank, a federally-chartered stock savings bank, has supported the communities it serves since 1884. The Bank has assets of $ 4.5 billion and operates 42 full-service banking offices in Northern and Central New Jersey and Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York.
