ESHA Research Helps Food Manufactures with Dual Column Label Compliance
Salem, OR (PRWEB) December 09, 2016 -- ESHA Research, the world’s leading supplier of nutrition analysis solutions, announced today the inclusion of a new Dual Column label format in Genesis R&D Food Formulation and Labeling Software. This new format will allow users to display both per-serving and per-container data on one Nutrition Facts panel in just a few steps.

With the new FDA labeling regulations, containers that have between 2 and 3 servings in them are now required to use the Dual Column Nutrition Facts label to show nutrition information for a single serving and per the whole container.
“Genesis R&D has always had the capability to generate dual column labels in the software, however, the typical use case for such label was for products that required further preparation, such as dry cake mixes, cereal, or dry pasta products,” said Josh Luth, Product Manager at ESHA. “The new dual column label format for a single recipe streamlines the label creating process, saving time and reducing labeling inaccuracies.”
The dual column labeling feature comes standard with the latest release (version 11.2) of Genesis R&D. This version will automatically ship to all current Genesis R&D customers.
