Conversational Virtual Receptionists Give Back This Holiday Season
New York City, NY (PRWEB) December 15, 2016 -- Conversational Receptionists, a virtual receptionist provider that specializes in call answering services, is embodying the giving spirit of the holiday season and making holiday donations to local charities and organizations.
The company announced that they will be donating a free year of phone service to a local charity, Santa’s Angels, this holiday season as they have in years past.
The charity rounds up Santa and several of his elves to visit locals who are struggling financially and find themselves unable to provide gifts and food for their children during the holidays. Santa’s Angels is staffed only by volunteers, and together, they fundraise and collect donations, build custom packages and gifts for families, and hand-deliver them to recipients.
Some of Santa’s Angels’ recipients request the visit from Santa and his elves at home; some in hospitals, homes, and centers; others are nominated by friends, family, or neighbors and receive a surprise visit from Santa on Christmas morning.
Conversational is proud to have a hand in supporting what CEO Tanya Lamont feels is one of the most important charities in the area.
“For the last few years, we’ve donated a free year of phone service to Santa’s Angels because we love their mission and what they do for those who can’t afford to spend money on gifts and food for the holidays. Being able to support an organization that goes above and beyond to make children smile during the holidays is a wonderful thing and we’re proud to do it.” - Tanya Lamont, CEO at Conversational
Conversational also made a financial donation to the U16 Provincial Ringette team on December 9. For the uninitiated, ringette is a popular game similar to ice hockey that is played with a rubber ring instead of a puck and a straight stick instead of the traditionally curved hockey stick.
An excited ringette team member joined CEO Tanya Lamont at Conversational’s office to officially receive the check in the amount of two hundred and fifty dollars. The donation will serve to help the team with uniform costs, team events and activities, and travel arrangements.
