Clearview Resolution Services will be hosting its first re-gifting office party on Dec. 22.

During the holiday season, many shoppers end up spending more than they can afford to. In recent years, re-gifting has become a holiday tradition for many offices across the United States. This year Clearview Resolution Services will be hosting its first re-gifting office party on Dec. 22.

Money Management International began promoting re-gifting as a way to save money and be environmentally friendly. The 41st governor of Colorado, Bill Ritter, Jr., declared National Re-gifting Day an official holiday in 2008. Since then, National Re-gifting Day has been held on the Thursday before Christmas each year.

When participating in a re-gifting exchange, it’s important to consider the dos and don’ts of re-gifting. Any gifts must be unused, and should be in the original packaging. Each gift-giver will be required to tell the recipient of their gift a little something about the gift they are re-gifting. Remember; one man’s junk is another’s treasure.

Clearview staff members will exchange on Dec. 22 while enjoying food and drinks, courtesy of Buffalo Road House Grill. The company will also have music, games and a raffle for a $500 cash prize.
