QMH Partners with Faith Community Church to Feed Homeless Children & Families on Thanksgiving
Azusa, California (PRWEB) December 14, 2016 -- QMH contributed 40 boxes, equaling 40 Thanksgiving dinners, which fed a total of 400 people. QMH team members went shopping together for all of the food and prepared and packaged the boxes as well. Each box included ingredients for a whole meal: ham/turkey, potatoes, cranberry sauce, pie, and more - enough to feed a whole family. These food boxes were passed out on Thanksgiving, in the neighboring school districts of Azusa, Covina, West Covina, Baldwin Park and El Monte, to children and families in need.
In the local community of Azusa, home of QMH headquarters, about 20% of the kids in surrounding schools are impacted by homelessness.
"This was a great opportunity for our company to help less fortunate members of our community enjoy the holidays," said Julia Pinto, QMH C.O.O. "QMH values giving back to the community and we encourage our entire team to do the same," she continued.
