Contextual email marketing leader powers four winning campaigns

It’s exciting to play a behind-the-scenes role with brands that are succeeding with email by using technology to streamline their processes and most importantly - provide their customers with great value and experiences in the inbox.

The awards competition is presented by The Marketer Quarterly, and recognizes the email marketing industry’s most innovative and creative work. Submissions sent in by marketers, agencies and technology partners were judged by analysts from The Relevancy Group, the parent organization of The Marketer Quarterly.

Movable Ink powered the real-time contextual content behind 4 of the 21 award-winning campaigns including:

  • Most Innovative Email - Entertainment: Palace Sports & Entertainment (Detroit Pistons)
  • Best Use of Social Marketing in Email: Gap, Inc.
  • Best Offer - Travel: Hipmunk
  • Most Innovative Email - Travel: HotelTonight

The Relevancy Group analysts shared insights on what they liked about each of the winning campaigns. For Palace Sports & Entertainment, it was “the use of real-time live content, particularly the post-game traffic updates.” The Gap team was commended for “the ability to reduce the email production time and improve time to market.” A similar efficiency story was key for Hipmunk, because “the real-time data and particularly the improvement in deployment time, which represents real hour savings for people.” Finally, HotelTonight won for “their use of location and past search behavior at the point of open.”
