Austin, Texas (PRWEB) December 16, 2016
Kung Fu Saloon, a local Texas favorite bar and restaurant, opened its doors at 1921 Division St. in Nashville this Thursday, December 15th and it promises to bring a new level of entertainment to an already vibrant Midtown nightlife scene.
Kung Fu Saloon began serving up drinks in Downtown Austin in 2009, soon expanding to Houston, Dallas and North Austin. With those expansions came a kitchen and a menu full of American bar favorites infused with familiar Asian flavors. This ‘Kung Food’ menu was recently refined by Austin’s own Chef Blake Keely formerly of Benji’s Cantina, Roaring Fork and the UT Club.
The menu features shareable items such as cheeseburger eggrolls, Cap’n Crunch fried pickles, salads and tacos. Everything one might crave while enjoying a beer, after racing a friend in Mario Kart or following an epic NBA Jam session. Austinites can get their fill of the new menu at the company’s Rock Rose location, 11501 Rock Rose Ave Suite 140.
“With our first expansion in Houston, we knew that a kitchen was the logical next step,” said managing partner Nick Adams. “As a company, we are always looking for new ways to change the game and our Kung Food menu was no different. Our plan is always to be your neighborhood bar, just kicked up a notch.”
The Nashville bar and kitchen will open daily from 11am – 3am and feature 24 beers on tap and eventually a weekend brunch menu. Unlike its Austin locations, the Nashville Kung Fu Saloon location will host a large front lawn boasting yard games like ping-pong, corn hole, Giant Jenga and an adult-sized teeter-totter. Those familiar with the concept will recognize the other entertainment features such as 5 free skee ball lanes,18 TVs, 20+ vintage arcade games and 2 private karaoke rooms.
