5 Miles to Midnight 'Lil Drummer Boy'

When I heard the song I immediately wanted to share it with my family and friends back home.

Indie rock band 5 Miles to Midnight (5M2M), whom are based between the Caribbean island of Trinidad and New York City, first gained recognition following the release of their debut recording 'OMG it's 5M2M's 1st EP' which was followed by their single 'Short Term Love' in 2015. Earlier this year 5 Miles to Midnight caught the attention of John Reid, president of FLOW Communications, which ultimately led to FLOW sponsoring 5 Miles to Midnight's SXSW 2016 music showcase.

Just in time for Christmas, 5 Miles to Midnight posted a rock version of the Yuletide classic "Little Drummer Boy" aptly titled 'Lil Drummer Boy' on YouTube as a gift for fans. Now others are sharing the song as a holiday greeting to friends & family near and far. "When I heard the song I immediately wanted to share it with my family and friends back home," says Anna Tempte, a Denmark born actor currently living in Brooklyn, New York.

5 Miles to Midnight has opened for the likes of Maroon 5, Evanescence, Far East Movement, Stephen Marley, Destra Garcia, and Trinidad James, among others. Additionally, 5 Miles to Midnight songs have been featured in commercials for Digicel and Fernandes Black Label Rum in Trinidad & Tobago. Now that's reason to be thankful.
