Zagoria Law Settles ‘Big Rig” Liability Case, Pre-Suit, for $250,000
(PRWEB) December 20, 2016 -- Zagoria Law, an Atlanta-based law firm specializing in personal injury cases today announced a pre-suit settlement for the auto-big rig collision between Olawuyi Adewuyi and B & B Trucking. Zagoria Law associate, Brooks Neely secured a $250,000 settlement for Adewuyi prior to filing suit.
On July 16, 2015, Adewuyi was traveling eastbound on I-285 when his vehicle was struck from the rear by a B & B Trucking freight truck being driven by Jamison Wimbush. The collision pushed Adewuyi’s vehicle into the car in front of his. At the scene, Wimbush received a police citation for following too closely, according to court documents. Surgery was required to repair Mr. Adewuyi’s right shoulder partial rotator cuff tear. The insurance claim number is 01662225.
“Traffic accidents are on the rise, and when large trucks collide with cars, the outcome can be very serious,” said Zagoria Law Founder and Principal David Zagoria. “We were happy B & B Trucking appreciated the gravity of this incident and court documents display that B & B Trucking was willing to resolve this matter without having to file suit.”
