Company Culture Award Presented to Eriksen Translations Inc.
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) December 20, 2016 -- Eriksen Translations Inc. (http://www.eriksen.com), one of North America’s top 40 language services providers, received the Business Owners Council’s top award for Best Company Culture. The Council recognized Eriksen’s Founder and CEO Vigdis Eriksen with this honor at the organization’s End of Year Bash and Member Awards Dinner, held at the Metropolitan Room in midtown Manhattan on November 21.
“Building a strong culture sometimes means doing things a little different,” stated the Business Owners Council during the award presentation. “Eriksen Translations maintains an open, collaborative environment where there are “no doors,” encouraging discussion and collaboration among team members. The team has a strong sense of shared purpose and values, working together not just to earn a profit but also to support the arts and build a more inclusive society through language.”
The Business Owners Council is a membership organization for entrepreneurs which holds monthly meetings so council members can learn from thought leaders and discuss business strategies with other engaged, proactive business owners.
This award coincides with Eriksen’s 30th anniversary celebration which the company commemorated by hosting an anniversary party on December 9th. Eriksen’s staff, linguists, and members of the local business community were on hand as the Brooklyn Borough President’s office presented a proclamation to recognize the company for thirty years in business.
“This award is especially meaningful as we celebrate our 30th anniversary,” stated Founder and CEO Vigdis Eriksen. “Developing a company culture that nurtures talent, promotes collaboration, and takes advantage of individual strengths has always been one of my top priorities. At Eriksen, we strive to cultivate an inspired, passionate team, so we can deliver out-of-the box ideas and innovative solutions.”
