United Breast Cancer Foundation Provides Generous Tempur-Pedic® Mattress Donation
Huntington Station, NY (PRWEB) December 21, 2016 -- The United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) recently hosted a large mattress donation event in Norton, VA on December 3rd. UBCF’s donation event provided the Southwest Virginia breast cancer community with brand new Tempur-Pedic® mattresses. On a cool, crisp Saturday, UBCF employees and 10 volunteers gathered to distribute 100 twin and 20 double size mattresses to breast cancer patients and survivors as well as immediate family members under the age of 18. The Health Wagon provided volunteer support – thank you! As in years past, OptaFuel graciously donated warehouse space and resources to make the event a great success.
UBCF anticipates hosting a mattress donation event in Norton, VA in 2017, date TBD. Mattresses will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis to male and female breast cancer patients, survivors and immediate family members under the age of 18. Financial need is taken into consideration as well. An appointment is required to receive a mattress.
