Journal of Urgent Care Medicine Names Harris Fleming as Managing Editor
MAHWAH, N.J. (PRWEB) December 28, 2016 -- The Journal of Urgent Care Medicine (JUCM) announced Harris Fleming as the publication’s new managing editor. With over 25 years of experience as an editor and writer in the healthcare and medical industries, Fleming brings an expansive range of field knowledge to his position.
“Urgent care, and healthcare in general, are undergoing many changes, and we are excited for Harris to bring his experience to the management of the journal,” said Laurel Stoimenoff, interim executive director of the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA). “His background and knowledge of the urgent care industry give him the expertise and skills needed to offer the best content for the journal.”
JUCM is the leading publication in the fast moving urgent care industry and serves as the official journal of the UCAOA. Written for clinicians and administrators working in the urgent care field, the journal provides beneficial, industry relevant content, with articles focusing on the distinct needs of today’s urgent care specialists in an ever-changing marketplace.
Fleming was the first editor of JUCM from 2001-2011 and has previously held editorial management positions with Drug Topics, Dowden Health Media, Physicians’ Desk Reference and Haymarket Medical Media. He currently resides in Waldwick, N.J. with his wife and son.
