Cinema Scene expands relationship with Malco Theatres and Fridley Theatres by adding additional digital technologies and comprehensive management services circuit-wide for both exhibitors.
Cinema Scene delivered a digital menu board solution for Malco Theatres that included commercial-grade hardware, flexible content management software and revenue-generating digital menu board promotions. The Malco Theatres circuit-wide deployment, which included conversions of static signage and existing digital displays, spanned a five-month period and encompassed 32 locations.
Larry Etter, Senior Vice President at Malco Theatres says, “It is so refreshing to have an organization understand the premise of Digital Menu Displays and the assets they can bring, not just in the images and creative art design but as a revenue stream as well. Working with Cinema Scene is enabling, it is simple and they understand the obligations of the business owner on multiple levels, distinct messaging, innovative processes and financial responsibility."
Digital deployments at Fridley Theatres are underway and are scheduled to be completed within in time for the summer movie season. The Fridley project, encompassing 22 locations including a mix of static and digital display conversions, is very similar in size and scope to that of Malco.
“We insist on providing our customers with the highest-quality moviegoing experience,” said Russell Vannorsdel, Director of Operations at Fridley Theatres. “This upgrade to Cinema Scene’s digital solution will be a great enhancement to our theatres, and we know our customers will be wowed with our continued investment in best-in-class technology.”
Joe Ross, Managing Partner of Cinema Scene states, “The expansion of our digital relationships at both Malco Theatres and Fridley Theatres exemplifies our desire to continue providing an unparalleled digital-lobby value proposition to the cinema industry. We are delivering cutting-edge technologies, industry-leading customer service, and groundbreaking media revenue on digital platforms that have traditionally been void of media content. We are so pleased that Malco and Fridley see the value we bring, and have chosen to be a partner in our expanding digital signage network.”
