Seton Launches New GHS Digital Catalog to Help Customers Before Compliance Deadline
BRANFORD, CT (PRWEB) April 19, 2016 -- Seton, a leading supplier of safety and identification products, has launched a new GHS digital catalog to help customers understand the new GHS regulations, as the GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals) deadline of June 1 approaches.
The new 12-page digital catalog features information about GHS guidelines and the products customers need to ensure compliance with the regulations. It addresses the three main areas—Learn, Identify and Organize—that manufacturers, suppliers and users of chemicals need to know.
The Learn section provides information and products related to training employees about GHS compliance. The Identify section explains how companies must clearly and accurately convey chemical hazards. The Organize section outlines how to keep hazardous chemical information organized and readily available.
“We wanted to create a resource that will help customers as they work to comply with the new GHS guidelines,” said Paul Schneeberger, Senior Product Manager at Seton. “In this new GHS digital catalog, customers will find the information they need to be GHS compliant, as well as the products that will help get them there—and keep them in compliance.”
Customers will find many resources in the digital catalog, such as videos and information sheets. Just a click away are videos, including How to Comply with GHS Signs and How to Update MSDS to SDS. Downloadable content includes a pictogram reference sheet and a GHS compliance checklist.
